Bro, it’s a laptop. Important data on it can still be saved. Worst case, you buy a USB network adapter and see if that works, or take it somewhere to get it repaired.

You did remove the network connection, uninstall the hardware in device manager and then cold-reboot to let it re-install the driver, right? That worked for me when Win 10 borked network on my 5-year old ASUS machine. It was only an issue with the first update after initial install and has been fine since.
